Adobe Releases Lightroom Version 11.0

Adobe has released significant updates to Lightroom Classic. Version 11.0 has a new masking panel, automatic sky or subject selection, improved metadata controls, and batch edit improvement. Make can be created using a brush, linear or radial gradients, color range, luminance range and depth. The subject or sky selection uses AI to analyze images and automatically add selections.

Adobe has released a “sneak peak” of some new functionality that they play to add to Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw. The Advanced Color Grading tool will replaces the previous Split Toning panel. Using a three-wheel interface, the new tool will allow user to adjust color values in the midtones.

Today, Adobe has released significant updates to its Creative Cloud apps. Lightroom Classic 9.3, Lightroom 3.3, and Adobe Camera Raw version 12.3 all add new functionality and features. This includes the addition of local selective color and saturation adjustment. These allow for easier removal of color casts, which are often a feature of underwater images, due to the color of the water we actually shoot through. \
