Ramsey, NJ (November 15, 2002) - Minolta Corporation announces the availability of the new Minolta Marine Case, an easy to use underwater housing designed specifically to perfectly fit the super slim profile of the award-winning Minolta DiMAGE X and new DiMAGE Xi digital cameras. Finally, digital photographers can have the flexibility to photograph what they want when they want to, regardless of weather conditions. From approximately 100 feet under the surface of the ocean to the summit of a rugged peak, this extremely compact Marine Case will protect the DiMAGE X and DiMAGE Xi from all the elements.

Like the DiMAGE X and DiMAGE Xi cameras, the new all-weather housing exemplifies the synthesis of function and design. The smoothly contoured, compact shell easily slides into the pocket of a buoyancy control jacket or ski jacket. The chrome-plated, metal control buttons make using the camera simple, even when wearing gloves. And the elegantly curved polycarbonate surfaces give the Marine Case its strength while eliminating unnecessary bulk and weight. The Marine Case is available at the suggested list price of $249.
